Treasure Island, Moby Dick, Robinson Crusoe – some fairly hard-hitting literature to be sure from a more golden age than this one … but the idea that the knowledge therein contained could provide a means through which to conquer the world?
The ape would be better off putting that lofty imagination to use as a writer itself…
